Only one through happenstance going to the same school
I met a friend about six years ago through an RP site [lol], and last year got down to their hometown to meet them for in-person dnd ! I'm glad I managed to, we'd been good friends for a while and we'd pretty literally saved each other's life more than once [talking down from suicide, calling an ambulance in one case, etc] - being older and a bit more stable meant we were able to move on past al that sad shit. Meeting them in person was awesome, I got to meet the rest of the squad I play DnD with in that group as well a couple days later.
Then proceeded to fall asleep literally on two of them at some point during my visit...orz.
I met many, actually! Most of them via neopets. To some of them I still have contact (10 years later). Two of them will be bridesmaids in my wedding later this year!
Just one via neopets, she lives in another city near here but we don't talk anymore.
