What headset do you use for gaming?

Whether it be PC or console gaming headsets can really make a huge difference in my opinion. If you use one, Do you prefer one brand(Astro,Turtle Beach, Triton...) over another and which do you use. If you don't use a headset. Is there a reason why?

Personally I've use astro for awhile and I love the sound quality for most games and since I play halo competitively I got a chance to use them back in 08 and have loved them every since (:

For Xbox, I prefer Turtle Beaches. Very comfortable, great sound.

I just have the headset that came with the 360 slim system but I dont use it. I hate talking on a mic at home because talking on a headset is what I do for a living and I hate anything that reminds me of work when im home.

I use a Turtle Beach x31 for my xbox and they are amazing. Clutching S&D matches by hearing the enemy all the way across the map is priceless. Sadly I'm stuck using a logitech headset for my PC.
