You correct someone's grammar and they get offended.
I just want people to learn to speak and spell intelligently
I spell things wrong all the time but correct others secretly in my head

Some people may make a simple grammar mistake, and still speak proper English.
Others may have been raised to spell or speak differently, you never know.
That is why I tend not to eaither, @(you need an account to see links) I do as well in my head.
It's more respectful.
I just don't understand why people get so offended. I'm not insulting them. Just telling them so somebody else doesn't insult them.
It's easy to speak, though. It's not easy to write properly. I mess up at times, and I like being corrected.
One day you'll correct someone with a learning disorder, they'll feel dumb and you'll feel guilty /end glimpse into the future.
