The way that went down, I think...
was that there were two sites that were shut down by the feds.
Then what.cd sprang up in place. I'm not sure if they did anything with that site, but I know they are putting together a new project called gazelle. So keep an eye out for that.

If you want music, just torrent it from utorrent or something like that.
Or maybe just use video2mp3 to take youtube vids and turn em to mp3 ;D
