What opinions do you have that clash with the general userbase?
I'll start:
Those over-the-top busy customs with transparent pets (usually draiks and aishas) that are all over the Customisation Spotlight look ugly
I'd rather have a pretty, long name than a 3- or 4-letter name
There are a few exceptions, but more often than not, I think that some of the UCs look better converted than unconverted and have no desire to trade for them

I agree with the first two things! I don't understand the allure of transparent pets, and a lot of the short names ares unpronounceable, or are just generally nothing I'd ever name a pet lol.
I prefer most of the UCs however, most of the converteds now have the same pose/same base body, ideal for just wearing clothes. For me, the converteds ruined the royals, plushies, and greys especially, as they lost the body positions that made sense for their character.

Very niche, but I really dislike the fan-made dyeworks/recolors people make that are really washed-out versions of the original. While TNTs color choices are really strange at times, at least they mostly keep it in the same range as the original item.
There is a fan page someone had of recolors where if you actually layered the items together, theyd just be one dank soft pastel color with the vibrant-colored neopets still there. I was so confused on why people were gushing over the recolors.

An unpopular opinion of mine is that I think sometimes complex backstories of Neopets are creepy af. Especially when they're dedicated to dead irl animals.
Agreed, transparent pets freak the hell out of me, I... don't like it when you can see organs? ._.
I also don't comprehend people who make boards seeking back-up offers. IMHO it's really rude and kinda offensive to the other party whose offer you accepted?

I agree with the short names thing. I don't care if a pet is 2L, 3L, or 4L unless it's a real word or real name. I also don't understand why some people are obsessed with the placement of consonants and vowels in the name (cvc format, vcvc format, etc). I don't think that should matter as long as the name sounds good.

- Agree with the short names thing. Would much rather have a cute nicknamable 5-6L than have an awkward 3-4L or a RW that you can't do much with.
- Disagree with /~Trelm - they waaay overvalue BD pets. Who has been actually trading 400HSD pets for tier 1 ucs? Even 600HSD was pushing it back when d/uc/ks were still a thing (i.e. even when BDs were rarer and Neopets was thriving more) I don't think PCers with BD pets have actually fought in the battledome otherwise they would know how weak 1kHSD actually is.

I’ll add in some
-I think UCs are the only thing keeping Neopets as a site in existence.
-they should have left the avatars as a prize in the random event machine
-99% of pet “characters” are pretentious
