I chose steampunk because of the potential wearables and base colours. I didn't really like burlap or origami.

I think they already have similar things to steampunk.. My vote would be Origami or burlap ..

NCC looks pretty salty about Toy not being first as well. Oh well. I think the dark olive color base looks pretty cool on the Steampunk gelert, I can't wait to see future pets.
