The guide Reeses posted is the one I also use and honestly that's where I'd recommend starting.

If you've never restocked before I'd start out at slower stores. Medicine is alright for starting out but it might be a bit boring as only a few items are actually worth anything. A lot of it is luck based, but you will need decent internet times. Just remember to be patient. You won't be grabbing every UB you see and that's alright. Personally I restock at Battle Magic, Plushie, Stamp, and Kuavara. You'll fine what's right for you though

I am a fairly quick legit restocker and I’ve rarely even gotten to the haggle screen in stamps. Riddled with ABers.

I used to RS shops like wintry petpets and petpet shop. Little competition, and decent rewards to be made. Food is decent, books is decent (less so since CC), clothing occasionally has something decent. Just don’t buy species specific clothing unless you know it’s valuable.

Me personally? I’d do food, books, clothing, one of the weapon shops and or of the petpet shops.

The first four will be somewhat competitive, the last one as long as you don’t mess up your haggle you should have a very good shot at it.

Toys is also a good one, try for those goodie bags, an easy 100-200k profit.

I ended up making over 100m in a relatively short amount of time by restocking and sniping legitimately, I’d happily help you out more if you have any questions.

Having said all that, one of the best and definitely the most fun way to make really good NP legitly is reselling.
