One quick question: the "only" thing we can do right now is to battle, right? I can't seem to make those potions work.
But I'm loving this event c:

tbh if you only have 1m, I would just use the two weapons the plot gives you easily, from the looks of it, more bd items will be given out during the plot. save your np until a challenger comes along you can't fight on your own then look at what your set is missing, by that time there should be more free achievement items.

Well in order to get the spear, he'd have to finish the challenge first. If he's struggling, I suggest two Scroll of Ultra Nova. If you still can't one shot, get two Yooyu Knuckle Duster ~100k each. If you want to hit a little harder, get two Turned Tooth ~350k

I just bought 2 turned tooth but even one would suffice since the weapon you get from opening the chest is pretty great.
