'Unusual Activity' alert + photo captcha

Recently, I started botting. I also have a VPN for that. Once in a while, one of my browsers (Opera) will give me this alert that's like "hey dude you've got some weird shit going on here, are ya human or nah?" and shows me my IP and stuff, and has a photo captcha prompt. It's freaking me out a little, especially since I don't use Opera to bot. Any ideas?

It's because a lot of people botting for other reasons will use a VPN, and the search engine you're accessing (Opera uses one by default too) will see that and want to make sure you're a real person.

So I've actually ran into that while I was on Google while AB'ing. If Google can detect that I'm using a VPN, can TNT do the same?

I would imagine that even if they can see a VPN being used -- hopefully not! -- it wouldn't be immediate doom and gloom.
VPNs are used for a lot of things, not just Neopets botting, which gives you some safety with the benefit of the doubt.

(Given, then an elite proxy would probably be a better solution for more high-stakes things, like lower buy times in high-traffic shops.
But that's assuming they can see a VPN in the first place!)

So it seems like it's nothing huuuuuuge to worry about, and just do the captcha when needed. Looks like I'll invest in a proxy lol
