Favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus Finch remains my favorite fictional character of all time.

Runner up is Big Trouble by Dave Barry. It's a comedy about an ad man, his son, a girl his son knows from school, her mom and embezzling father, the hitmen hired to kill him for embezzling, the homeless man who lives in a tree in his backyard, the secret arms dealers the homeless man works for at their bar, and the witless thieves who set off the intricate chain of events when they rob that bar. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. As complicated as it sounds, it's written so well that it isn't difficult to follow in the least. It was adapted in a movie that Comedy Central would air every now and then, starring Tim Allen.

Favorite series is definitely The Chronicles of Narnia.

And just for fun, favorite comic is The Goon. A comedy series follows two relatively ordinary Mob-enforcers that run business for an unseen mob boss in a fantastical world. The main rival gang is a horde of mindless zombies commanded by the zombie priest. If you pick this one up, skip volume 1, and especially volume 1 issue 1. It spoils something that would turn out to be a major reveal way down the line.

My favorite book was always A Child Called It. Close second would have to be Tom Clancy's Locked On

I am enjoying the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, 15 books so far and tons of shorts. I think he is also a graphic novelist, the characters are very interesting.

It's got the be the original Sherlock Holmes series by Arthur Conan Doyle, by far the best thing I've ever read in terms of how much I enjoyed them.

I am very biased though as I love anything Sherlock Holmes related and detective themed.

The Alchemist by Paul Coelho. Crime & Punishment is up there at the top too.
