    I'd invest a little bit more and go with the Moto G5 Plus (even the regular G5 would be a good choice) if you can, though.
    Motorola usually goes with almost stock Android so performance shouldn't be much of an issue, unless you run apps like PoGO+Facebook+other stuff simultaneously, the RAM is basically what allows you to multitask without having to redraw apps.
    The benefits of having almost stock or stock Android is that the devs don't need to work a lot to bring you software updates... Although since Lenovo purchased Motorola mobility their update cycles have become slower. Carriers also have a lot to do in how fast/slow you get updates.

    Yeah the only app I run that needs decent RAM power is Pokemon Duel. Other than that, I close all apps before running anything else
