Is it possible for items to disappear out of safety deposit box? I bought an item off here, (july) I asked the seller if the item was legit as I didn't want my account frozen at all, but got it sent to a side anyway. It wasn't a cheap item, I always would have thought if they lied and said it was legit, when it wasn't my account would got frozen, but it's just disappeared altogether, kind of annoyed since I will never be able to afford another one and I highly doubt my account has been 'hacked into' as if they were I feel like they would of taken my UC not just one item worth 15mill.
Can Neopets just make the item vanish?
Was your sdb not pinned or something? Maybe they could only get into that and not touch your UC.
If it was (with a new pin), then I'm not sure. I believe TNT did delete some of the dupes etc, but they did that earlier on. It would be odd if they did it now because they would realistically just be screwing users out of their items. I would consider maybe a ticket but like that's even a bit risky.

No my SDB wasn't pinned because my side account only has like 8 things in the SDB really basic stuff. I never thought of pinning it, my pets also don't have a pin either, I'm going to go change that right now though, lol. Just in case. I normally play legitally so it was never a big deal to me :/ opps

Do items disappear forever or just while using a different language?
I’ve never heard of items disappearing.... other than people taking them. That’s probably what ended up happening.

That's exactly what I'm currently doing, if I get into accounts that i think the owner may return, I just take one or two items from the SDB. I'm actually doing it as a trial run to test to see how long I can get away with it, and I've been doing it a month or so with no issues. If you NM me the item and I was the one who took it, I would return it of course. Or to be honest, i could probably just give you the item if I ever come across it, just make sure you do the same and send it to a side and let it sit for a while.
