Back in the day, SW sniping was actually one of my favorite things to do in Neopets, but that seems to be dead now. Does any sort of AH/TP/SW sniping still exist, and even if it does, is it worth doing?
Well, AH and TP is hit or miss. It's tough because the economy is shit. No ones buying at the rate it used to be. However, I do fairly well buying ETS weapons when I can find em cheap and just wait til someone wants it in a hurry or after recent plot rumors. Ttear and LEV are my favorites, I can usually make a Mil or 2 from buying and selling them.

The only thing I have luck SW sniping are random old plot/event items. Pretty often I'll go through price checking some of the old festival of neggs items and see them on the wiz for a lot less than they're going for. Once you find a shop with something cheap, you can usually find a few other items as well. It's a lot different market though, we don't have thousands of nub accounts not knowing how to use the wiz anymore. Everyone playing knows how to look up item prices so it's doubtful you'll run into too many.
I've had more success at the money tree than any type of sniping lately. There just aren't enough auctions and most of the cheap stuff on the shop wiz are on frozen accounts.

True shop wizard sniping got sort of wrecked with the addition of super shop wizard. It can still be done now but its harder considering there are less people playing and less new users joining.
Same goes with auctions in the inactivity part. Its very tedious to wait for auctions that are snipe-able, and once you found one.... legitly every other sniper is watching.
