Question Did TNT purge this pet, or..?

Someone just posted in the Pound Chat that a name they were stalking (Lexa) was on a new account, and 110 hours old. They're speculating that the purge started, but everyone was checking their markers and found nothing.

Another user comes around and says they did have them on their list and that the account owner is still active. Is this a weird glitch, or is this some sort of exploit? I'm honestly confused.

I've posted before about how the purge isn't a thing anymore... or at least it wasn't for a long time.

A few years back, I'm talking back when pcblacklist(sp?), pcoutlist were a thing and reporting everybody was still the move - pets in line for the purge was still a thing. There were LOTS of accounts that weren't able to be logged into because they were in line for the purge. The login info still worked, but when you went to login you would be greeted with the frozen message stating the reason "Account Banned". This was a surefire way to know that an account was in line for the purge.

So it went for quite awhile. At some point in time, things changed. All of a sudden, accounts that were previously inaccessible were now able to be logged in. You were no longer given the "Account Banned" message. You could log into them just like any other account. As far as I know... this never changed and pets that people might have on their list are able to be accessed.

The only reason something MIGHT not be accessible would be if somebody got in before you and changed the info, or the password reset that TNT did hit the account. Under the radar, TNT reset the password on LOTS of accounts. Most accounts that were impacted were very inactive accounts, accounts that hadn't had their info changed for awhile, etc.

Soo.. yes.. lots of pets that are on peoples old "stalker list" could have or have been accessed. Not sure what this means for the next purge. I don't think TNT even knows how they are going to do it to be honest.

You think the age is just a visual bug/error then?

Not too sure tbh. Haven't been keeping up with most neo things for awhile now.
It's possible that TNT purged a pet that was on an account that had been logged into recently. I wouldn't put it past them. Unless I'm understanding the situation incorrectly?

No clue how they plan on figuring which pets should be purged and which shouldn't at this point.

Slight correction: the pet is 111 hours old. Not days.

Now the pc is freaking out about name conspiracies and they have noticed that some names have apparently been moved around to different accounts. Oh gosh. lol

This is going to be a lot of drama probably.

well a pet cant be moved when its under 7 days old, so it was definitely created on that account. the account says it was active under one day ago. are we sure the purge hasn't started?

^ Meh, noting that pets are crying when they're first created and that some are being moved around isn't really being ~pc police~, more like pointing out that TNT is possibly up to something in preparation for the purge which is more exciting than anything.

But the people who are immediately jumping to the 'hacked' conclusion are pretty funny. Pretty sure that so many popular names wouldn't have suddenly moved accounts because of hackers lol. So this could turn out pretty cool, TNT may be up to something,
