I saw this topic in the Neopets Nation and I thought it might be fun to ask here.
For me, it was draining my step-sister of her Neopets goods once she told me she had an account (even though she never played..), and also, taking an active person's account. I used to be a savage
How about you guys?
i love luna

a long time ago in a school computer lab, the instructor apparently went into everyone's accounts that were playing Neopets and drained their goods. Not sure if they funneled it all into their own account or just dumped it all onto the money tree. They changed my shop description to something along the lines of 'Hopefully this will teach you not to play games during class!' so there was no mistake.
Thinking about it, it could still be some classmate that snuck on to the unlocked session, rubbing salt in about careless public computer use. But I don't remember leaving my seat while playing Neopets in class.
Maybe not the kind of response you were looking for. At the time it really sucked though.

I've bought a few UCs that are still on the PC being traded to this very day.

Not going to lie... when I was younger, I was a little shithead. I did the same thing everyone else does when they started out.. I joined a giveaways guild. I was a pretty good restocker so I acquire wealth quickly and got promoted to council. There was also a girl named Amie who was on the council with me, and we became very close. The leader Lisa was a few years younger then us but she was pretty wealthy too. She saw how much I was making from restocking so Amie convinced her to let me restock on her account. Instead of restocking, we just stole her stuff and split it lol. Good ol' 2001 scams.
I stole an UC from a friend, when she gave it to me to play for a month for my birthday... lol
I just never gave it back and instead I traded it for something else
She got it back eventually

Back when I was a kid, I scammed someone into buying paint brush plushies.
Good times.
I once stole a side account with a valuable pet, and accidentally offered it to the user's main account in a trade. (Saying this also got me banned from that other cheating site lmao)
Lol so that's what happened? I wondered what went down there.
My worst thing personally was working with a few other people on hash lists back in the glory days of having them.
Also I used to sell birthday and pin cracks back in the good old days when you could exploit those through other games.
I also stole a bunch of dubloons off an account that was still logged in at the library back in 2005ish. My first neo-crime.
Now I don't do any sort of cracking at all and prefer to deal in non stolen goods. I feel a bit guilty about all that actually, I pussied out when someone begged me for their account back and I felt bad, never did it again after that.

Technically, that only got me trade banned. Calling the mods a pack of moronic hypocrites (amongst a few other choice phrases), that's what got me banned
I'm still sad that I missed the glory days of hash lists. That would've been my bag. These days, I have to stick to more boring and menial methods of getting into accounts.
I reported a users pet name because they were a total asshat all the time. I know I wasn't the only one to report the name either so I felt a little better about myself. Still see the user around and they aren't as big as of an asshole anymore. But I don't regret doing it.
Edit: this was a looong time ago. Maybe 6 years now? Maybe longer.
