    Cali Suggestions

Hey cK fam. I am going to L.A/San Diego for a week to celebrate my day of birth. Anyone have any cool suggestions on what to do out there?

    +rep too.

I got Musuem of Death, Aquarium of the Pacific, and a few other things saved to my phone.

If you go to any amusement-type parks, get the fastpass if they're available. Or else you'll be in two-hour waits every ride.
I've only been a few times and I just woke up so I can't even remember what I did there besides Disney and Universal Studios, lmao
    i love luna

    Santa Monica Pier

    Griffith Observatory

If you don't have the $$ you can check out the Downtown Disney (the shopping district right outside Disney)

The same goes for Universal Studios. They have a shopping district outside of the park.

    Hollywood Walk of Fame

    Queen Mary tour

I'm not so good with touristy spots. LACMA is decent, everybody who's set foot in LA seems to have photos from the place because the lights look really nice

The Getty Villa is also beautiful (and the Getty Museum too of course)

These were like my go-to spots in LA but it's mostly for food/shopping:
Abbot Kinney is a nice shopping spot and also just a nice place to browse around and grab a cup of tea or coffee, the Santa Monica Promenade is a popular but more touristy shopping spot
    Also Century City for shopping

Sawtelle Japantown's great if you're into Asian food (Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc)

Biking along the beach is really nice and scenic if you start in Santa Monica and go down to Marina del Rey and then back. In particular there's this really nice section of the bike path by the Bellona Wetlands that's soooo scenic, you're surrounded by water on 3 sides and you can see a ton of birds flying overhead, and sometimes you can spot sea lions and dolphins in the water
