alright thanks. ^^ how long should i wait to own the pet before brining it around the pc?
That I can't really help you with exactly. I avoid the PC completely. I'd say a month+ after it's been on your main. The longer the better though. I wouldn't start by making your own board either. Maybe offer it on someone else's pet and only post a couple times a week, then you should be alright to do your own thing. The main thing is just casually posting so a few others will see you on the pc which should bring less attention when you try to actively trade him.
I asked the same thing when I was new to the whole trading thing! But if you want more info given by the veterans on this forum, here's the link to my very old thread (but still relevant)!
(you need an account to see links)
Here's a useful post from my old thread:
As long as you have a decent looking account with decent pets, people generally won't be suspicious. My friend faked a large uptrade with herself once and people got suspicious, but she just ignored them and they can't actually do anything to her because her account looks good in general.
This reminds me of way back when when I went onto the PC with a RW UC Grey Ixi on a shell and no one raised any suspicion. Good old times. :')
I'm glad you asked this because I'm returning to the scene was wondering the same thing. I have a RW I want to introduce to the PC eventually. Piggybacking on your question, the one I have was created around the last purge and has some BD stats I'm evening out so I wonder if it would seem more "legit"?
I have traded. Honestly, if it's on a side, I wouldn't advertise it directly, but rather offer it on different pets which are already posted on the pc or being advertised themselves.
Always stick to mailing offers. Maybe post a random one or two, but I would lay a little lower. Honestly, it's not that difficult (imo anyways). Once you've traded for a pet that's already a little known on the pc (you'll learn fast) it's much easier.
ty 4 the insight u guys. has anyone ever reported a pet you know for sure wasn't legit and nothing ever happened to it?
i lurk a lot and it's the same tiny handful of pets that are being traded around. it sucks that everyone's report happy, it'd be nice to see more ucs come into the trading pool without getting iced

Avoid the PC 100% and even then somebody could have been stalking the pet and report. It's all a gamble
I don't think I've ever traded a legitimate pet in my life. I buy a pet from here, sit it on my side for a few months, randomly post with it so people know it's mine, make sure my shit looks fleek AF, and when I'm ready to trade, I do mail-in trades, and make sure there are emails, and I've never had a pet get me iced before. Then again, I'm a super sociable person and people just believe I have these pets across my sides because they're dumb or don't care.
