What are your thoughts about the current situation in Venezuela ?

I've been thinking about this topic for quite a few days due to the fact the left wing parties in my country agree with everything that Nicol�s Maduro is doing to Venezuela, some political parties (like PT) even signed up a document where they show support to Maduro.
Seriously, that's one of the things that get me so angry because how come someone can agree with what that monster is doing?
A few months when Maduro 'threatened' to go to war against Brazil most of my friends were making fun of the situation saying the brazilian army just had to throw toilet paper, medicine and basic things to defeat the venezuelan army (and a few other things that are just not funny).
There are so many videos and photos about the atrocities that are happening in that, once, beautiful country. So many innocent people have died because they didn't agree with what that jerk thinks and does.
Every single leftist that I know has the exact same opinion, they defend socialism, say Venezuela is a great place to live, that Maduro is a great leader and all that crap.

Opinions?

Anyone that says he's a great leader it's lying to themselves.
That, or they just don't live in Venezuela or are rich in Venezuela.

People that have some money and studies have been leaving like bees to anywhere else, Chile is already filled with professionals from Venezuela that escaped what was going on there, there's no safety for anyone... sadly, the only people that are there don't have a choice but to stay since they don't have the chances to leave. Poor people are the ones suffering the most, kids are dying out of bad nutrition and there are thiefs and crime wherever you see.

It's sad and it's a shame for south america and the world what's going on there.

I applaud you for bringing this up. I also agree that whats happening there is tragic, and I don't mean to lessen the severity of the situation by saying this, but this occurrence is just the most recent one. The Middle East has been methodically gutted for the last 15 years, with an insane amount of civilian casualties, and most people credit the right for it's beginning (the Bush administration). What we need to start realizing, is that this isn't a "left" or "right" issue, it's a global issue. Or, more accurately, it's a global agenda that's being intricately executed with a very [comparatively] small group of people and their well-being in mind.
Do some research on the dark side of the Jesuit Order and Zionists. The Jesuit Oath, and The Protocols of Zion is a good place to start.
