Everyone is different.
It's on you to determine if you feel you should start again or not.
It's been a little over 6 months since I've smoked any marijuana, and since it's been proven to alter brain chemicals and how people think, I was wondering if maybe smoking again would change some chemicals in my brain for the better and help me with some of the mental issues I struggle with.

Didn't you already ask this in the help section dude?
Not meaning to be a dick in any way, just in case you forgot
From personal experience I'd suggest to keep off it as I said on the other thread, but as Joe says only you can really decide. If you do, go easy on it and don't get stoned out of your brain on the hardest skunk you can find right away. Ease into it.

Everything alters brain chemistry.
If you are looking to get high then do so.
Personally, I blame marijuana for the current state I'm in. Had a bad trip, passed out, woke up thinking I had died or someone had poisoned me. Since then my life has been pure hell - anxiety, depression, agoraphobia.
