The title says it all. I was talking to someone on desktop Skype and they removed their messages before I was able to find out what it was. Now I'm insanely curious.

If I recall, the only way to view it would be in the Skype logs.

This might be a little late, but I havent been here in a really long time.
Data recovery is usually a time sensitive thing, just because you delete something from disc does not mean that its gone, as long as that section of the hard drive hasnt been over written with new data, sometimes even then recovery is still possible.

Some stand alone windows applications would be recuva, stellar phoenix windows data recovory, or some of the norton utilities. I dont have alot of experience with them.

But when it comes down to it, Im a linux guy and I always use a live boot knoppix distro for data recovery when I need it. Knoppix has some really good tools packed with it, ddrescue, testdisk, and photorec would be your best bets I think.
