Also, what are your thoughts on colored contacts?

in the end no one ever knew what the outcome would be. So I guess you have to do your best to make a decision that you wont regret.

You can find stand alone vision insurance. You don't have to go through an employer or however you have your current insurance.

Also if your insurance doesn't cover them, it is usually a lot cheaper to buy them online! (you need an account to see links)

I pretty like miscellaneous contacts, mainly the ones with pics or inusited colors. The ones with flags are the best for the new year commemoration :p

I don't have the need for glasses/contact lenses but I've used the colored ones just for show. I tried using them for 3 days but I was never able to get used to them. My vision would be a tiny bit blurrier than usual and the colors were off as well so I pretty much gave up on the idea. Don't know if now as the years passed, the contact lenses have become better or the same. :/

I like them personally. You replace them every few months depending on which kind you get. I was actually really interested in circle lenses but they're bad for your eyes if you're not careful and they kinda make people look like aliens without makeup, lol. If you're getting contacts to see with then I'd say they're worth it. Not sure about the cosmetic ones, though.

I've tried them a few different times, I like the concept of them but my eyes just get too dry for them to work for me.

Def worth it if youre some kind of athlete or have a profession where glasses would get in the way. Although if it's a huge issue and your'e eligible, laser eye surgey might be an option instead since contacts can be so finicky.
