    You decide my future

Should I go out tomorrow night to my friend's house to some sort of a chill party...

or should I just stay home avoiding social interaction because i'm too lazy to put effort and i'm more of a loner type personality, which often means I rather stay home with my internet than be with my friends?

I say go out and if it sucks then you can just leave. No shame in just testing the water

I'd say go out and if it's lame sauce you can always leave. You could even get someone to do an emergency call/text so you have a "reason" to leave if anyone asks.

Go out, every time. You can stay in and chill any day. If I'm ever presented with that predicament, I've made it my prerogative to always go out. Gotta enjoy life while it's there. If the party sucks, you can always duck out and do something else. Easy!

I might be enabling you by saying this, but I'm a bit of a loner myself. I have a (very) small circle of friends/family. In the past, I would be guilted in to doing things I didn't want to do, and I was miserable. Before long, I reached the fuck-it mode, and now I embrace it. I'm much happier now that I've stopped trying to please everybody, and trust me, it's impossible to do anyways lol

Also, your state of mind has a lot to do with your experience of social situations. If you FEEL hesitant or anxious before you go, you'll have a hard(er) time enjoying it. That's not always the case though, sometimes when I go outside of our comfort zone, I'm glad that I did. Either way, you're choice, do whatcha feel =P

I feel your struggle as I am kind of a loner myself. As much as I do enjoy going out every now and then, I feel like it's a better option for me to stay at home when I'm super hesitant about the whole thing before it even happens. Just go with how you feel! If you are kind of interested in going but are just feeling lazy, you can always come back home after spending a little time there.
