    Question about banning here

So i recently noticed a lot of new users were signing up and getting banned a short while after (maybe this isnt new its just something i happened to take notice of)

    It got me thinking..

Every time i have issues logging in, or get booted off the forum i worry ive broken some rule and been banned, im a sensitive soul guys dont laugh! I am wondering how the whole ban process works?

Do you get a ban notification of some sort?
Can you send in a ticket or appeal?
    Do people get unbanned?

I also wonder if im the only one wondering this?

Edit: just so people know i dont plan to get banned, it would just easy my crazy anxiety to know how it all works

@(you need an account to see links) Just FYI, the same Previously Banned Member (PBM as we refer to them as) signed up with over 30 different accounts to spite Bettser and the forum and just to be bothersome. That's where the spike in bans has come from

Unless you are blatantly breaking a rule (like having multiple clraik accounts) or scamming people, you wont have anything to worry about for being banned.

But if by chance you are banned, you can appeal your ban. Not 100% sure on the process of that, but one of the mods will let you know, or direct you to a official Stickied thread that has it listed

And dont worry; most of us here aren't normal either

I just noticed like 15 banned people in a day, i think its the most ive ever seen, @(you need an account to see links)

And me being the special little onion i am, got thinking all these thoughts about the whole process.

I have figured out that the site boots me out if i change i.p, or if im inactive for a length of time, so thats one less worry for my over worried head to deal with

AFAIK, no, but to be fair, she didn't recall her original account name either so that's a thing

cK for a certain period of time would boot me out when I changed my proxies on Chrome. But now after using a VPN, all seems to be working again, no more random log outs. But couldn't tell you why it stopped or started though, just can tell you that you don't have to worry about those

If you get banned, whenever you click on a cK link while logged in, you'll have a pop-up saying you're banned, the reason for it, and the duration.
If it's an unjust ban, you could message the mods, but I don't think there's been an unfair banning in my time as being a mod. It's not very likely at all, unless you commit a large offense, such as scamming.

You don't get logged out after a ban.

It was not them. That's another person.

Don't worry. As long as you don't break the rules intentionally then you will be fine!

If you were banned, chances are you were given every opportunity beforehand to explain your side. If you weren't, you have probably been warned a few times to stop doing what you're doing or to get your shit together. The exception to that rule is spambots and previously banned members - often referred to as PBM in banned reasons.

You may always appeal a ban or try to talk it out with staff, however you must do so in a respectable manner. If you make countless accounts just to post nonsense and say you're innocent, then good luck to ya. If you make another account and PM staff straight off asking for more info or to explain, you might be welcomed back.

I've seen every possible cominarion under the sun as far as bans. I've seen people banned for a few days and people banned for a few months. I've seen people banned after given a dozen chances to straighten up. I've seen people request bans, people banned only to come back under different names. I've banned people just to mess with and I've seen PBMs come back again and again and again. Usually staff is very understanding so you probably won't have to worry. It's nothing like neo. You won't come to the forum one day and find you were banned for something ridiculous and never be able to get your account back haha

@(you need an account to see links), more often than not, before you're even close to being up for ban you'd be getting PMs with verbal warnings, official warnings and infractions. As others have said, those new users weren't legitimate users, but unwelcome PBMs. Sometimes you'll see that banned members have logged into their banned accounts recently, because as @(you need an account to see links) indicated, you're still able to get into the account. I hope this puts your sensitive mind at ease!
