There is one name I hope to god is on the list and will do everything in my power to get. Other than that, I don't really give a shit.
I'm excited, hopefully is something that comes soon and not just a tease from Scrappy
TBH all this really means to me is I have to go through and make sure none of the accounts I'm sitting on get purged lol

Fun fact... I doubt they have ANY idea how they will actually pick and choose which accounts get purged.
Way back when there was a way to tell which accounts were in line for the purge. If anybody talked to me while I was selling pets a few years back, I'm sure you had me tell you one the pets you liked was in line for the purge. It was a struggle.
Then, randomly, the accounts that were in line with the purge were suddenly no longer in line for the purge. They were able to be accessed just like any other account/pets. Not sure why/how that happened but it made me laugh when people would talk about waiting for a pet to purge... when in reality that was never going to happen.
Perhaps something changed and they are now actually going to purge pets... but I for one am not holding my breath.

I'm just curious how this affects some of the UCs out there on inactive shells...
Is there a risk of them getting purged? I thought that for people selling Uc's that they had to be on inactive accounts. Or am I wrong?
Ohh man this exciting, hopefully it actually DOES happen.
On one hand I've never participated in the purge before and am excited for potential trading fodder for my legit accounts. On the other hand the purge sounds completely frustrating. I mean my account that was frozen like 10 years ago STILL has not purged.
The way I thought it happened was accounts were purge and then the pets were in turn purged. If there's UCs on the accounts, they will be deleted. There was some method of sending transfers for the UCs and then they'd go to the pound once purged. That sounds way too time consuming though.

Yes, they can get purged as well
Well, usually inactive accounts are 'long ago seen' but to be purged, they need to have a minimum of years of inactivity, and to just reach the 'long ago seen' status you just need a year without entering the account. Usually sellers enter the account where the UC is to change the info and then keep them around until it becomes inactive, so they keep the date in which they entered or can recall how long it's been since they did that. Not a huge risk of getting those purged.
