I have a cheapie rip off pair.....not sure if im ready to spend the $180 on a proper pair

I have never seen someone in them and been like, "I WANT HIM INSIDE OF ME!" I would stick with the classic canvas slip on/converse low top. They can be really breathable without socks, and are not a big investment. If you are down to wear very thin ankle socks, they will even last you more than a year. Just classic and sexy.

the only people i know who wear them are lesbians and tell me thats how they identify other lesbians so i feel like its a delicate ecosystem that you should take into account before purchasing

I paid $115 CAD so its more than USD. Either way I do agree that paying >100 for sandals can be a bit silly but I wanted to spoil myself lol

I have also worn Sanuuks (?sp) they have canvas style shoes but they feel like sandals, very very comfy.

I love my birk sandals.

No lesbians have ever caught me while wearing them, but then again I'm usually in public with my husband.

I second the sanuk shoe. Love those suckers. I'm getting a pair for work because my converse just hurt my feet.

I had a knockoff pair from Asia that were okay, but I bought the real deal and they're SUPER comfortable. I think it's worth plus they'll last a long time.
