I know photobucket is kind of an old photo hosting/sharing service but I thought I'd make a thread anyways.
Apparently, overnight, they have stopped allowing 3rd party hosting unless you upgrade your account for $400 per year. I know business is business but they are kind of a dying site anyways. Plus every time you go on there you are bombarded with ads.
Anyways my purpose on making this thread is to send out a PSA just in case you use PB to host your images.

I use PB. Arg does that mean I should switch it all over to another page? What a hassle
Thanks for the heads up, I have an account there since like 2008, I should save the most important stuff
Gotta save all my PB cringey old Neopets art lol
who would pay $400 when there's free sites though? lol
i love luna
$400/year is absolutely insane...there's free options and even if you were willing to pay there's much more affordable options O_o
Maybe this is them trying to lower their userbase?
PM me to see what I have up for sale! Always selling UCs/NP/Accounts!
Offering free PIN cracks to Clraik rank (and higher!), just shoot me a PM.
Unless they are trying to shift their business in a different direction or have it completely shut down idk why they would do this.
At this point all they are good for is picture storage but why bother now. PB is going to be useless to probably most of its user base.

Going to ride this storm out. I can't see how they can last when they want people to pay that much money.
