Congratulations on graduating HS! I do have several things to point out: Graduating HS does not make you an adult. It's your experiences through life that shape character, perspective, and your values. There are plenty of grown men and women who still act like children...and that's okay. If you love watching anime, playing neopets, games, etc. when you're 18+ years of age, then those are your hobbies. Embrace your individuality by pursing your passions, whatever they may be (just don't become a Serial Killer). You will be faced with adversity at some point in your life, and that may very well turn out to be several points throughout your life. The attitude you take in dealing with that adversity will help you grow as an "adult."

Aging isn't something to dread. There are opportunities presented each day, in every month, and in every year, waiting for you to make the most out of it! Experience life to its fullest by sharing joyous moments, participating in exhilarating activities, mourning in sorrow, etc. Embrace everything life throws at you with open arms and you'll have one heck of a trip.

Anyhow, its funny to see HS who are entering college think of themselves as adults. There are always new college grads who think the same thing when they enter the workforce, and most who's been working for some time just laugh. The point is that the early stages of life just keep testing that very question: when is one expected to become an "adult"? Is it when they begin working? Is it when they purchase their first home? Get married? Have Kids? There's no one age that defines all those experiences. Actually, you could have all that in a year but whatever.
