    One question about school

    what's up guys?
I live in Brazil and I will travel to the USA soon.
Brazil is very different from the USA to get into college. Here we take a test to get a place, and it is well attended ..
I'm going to spend a month there and I do not want to waste time, there is how to buy school books at any bookstore?

sorry for my bad english x(

I'm assuming you are asking if you can buy school textbooks at any bookstore. It really depends on where you go to school and what is required in that class. The biggest book store that the US has anymore, AFAIK, is Barnes and Noble. They should have most books you will need.

Also, the town you will be in might have some smaller bookstores. Usually the colleges have bookstores on campus as well. When I was in college I bought most of my books online(since you can find better deals there).

If you do not mind me asking, what part of the US will you be visiting/attending college?

I would purchase books from Amazon. Loads cheaper than the bookstore. Also, ask your professors if earlier editions of the textbooks are acceptable. Might be small difference in page numbers but it's essentially the same book.
