I've graduated high school and college at this point. I miss high school for the fact I didn't have the responsibility I have now as an adult. I also miss having my good friends and support system readily accessible within the same place. All the other stuff? Not so much.

NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NEVER.

School fucking sucked, always hated it, was always sick of people telling me "but you'll miss it when you're an adult and have to work".

    FUCK THAT.

I miss being able to see my friends every day. I'm still really close to a bunch of people from school, but we're all in different countries thanks to university right now and it really sucks. Ugh. Growing up.

I don't miss anything else though, and I definitely wouldn't relive it if I could.
Way too much constant pressure and being told how you'll never ever get a job if you screw up in a test or two.
    I'm so glad it's over.

How long have you started working?

Back to the topic, I guess different periods of your life has their own ups and downs. I would i say i miss only certain aspects of high school, but not fully.

Well, here in the UK we finish school at 16. I took a year off and then went to Art college for 2 years, I did a couple of weeks in Uni but dropped out so I've been working full time since 2011.

As a middle school teacher, I often times find myself reflecting upon this question, but with a more middle/high school combination, since both buildings were joined together, so there was really not an interruption between the periods. Having recently entered my 30s, I am not sure if it is the nostalgia that I long for (that late 90s/early 2000s), or perhaps homesickness (I live in NYC, but grew up and went to school in a beautiful historic Rhode Island town), or actual love of those years. This was such an incredibly formative period of my life, and those are years that I know I will never get back.

While I am by no means unhappy, and admittedly live a very charmed life, I think that I may have been the happiest years of my life due to so many varied factors all combining to a perfect storm environment for a kickass adolescence. What I do know, aside from being given the absolute best education, is that these years helped me realize what I wanted to be as an adult. I can truly credit the amazing teachers (it was like every single teacher) and middle/high school experience with molding me into the type of teacher that I am today, and am/will be forever grateful for this.

No, It's really hard to wake up at 6:30 am to shower get ready take the bus and make it to first hour by 7:20. YIKES
in the end no one ever knew what the outcome would be. So I guess you have to do your best to make a decision that you wont regret.
