Summer is still a long way to reach here
But I have Winter holidays in two months, and I'm going with my boyfriend to some waterfalls in the south of Chile, with many natural parks, woods, water sports and that sort of stuff. Really excited, since it will be our first trip together alone the two of us (we went to Peru with my parents in April). So yeah, excited!

Although I live there, I've hardly visited places within Canada lol. The furthest I've been was to Alberta when I was younger. :') Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal are supposed to be kind of cool places, though. I've always wanted to visit them.

    I know that feeling haha
I've lived near DC my whole life but hardly ever go there. I haven't even been there for the cherry blossom events. Sometimes we take for granted where we are. People travel from all over the world to see DC and I could get there in a quick 35-40minutes. It's crazy.

I know that feeling, i live in ottawa/hull the capital of Canada that has all of this crazy shit it in it and i'm kinda just like "meh.. yeah i live here" then when i break out of my shell from time to time it's like "OH MAN WHY I HAVE DEPRIVED MYSELF"
we probably just get so accustomed to our surroundings that it becomes mundane to us.

Probably just some short road trip over a long weekend, nothing exciting.
Fall is the best season to travel for me, looking into Korea/Japan next.

Lake Louise/Banff are great for sightseeing in Canada. Never been there yet but one day!

That's very true. We just become familiar with what's around us that we don't even give it a second look. After living somewhere new and coming back to visit my folks, I realize just how lovely the neighborhood and surrounding area is. Gotta stop and smell the roses every now and again.
