I'm about the same place as everybody else. I had fun for a while trying to cap out my forced-retirement achievement, but things have been lagging since. Still, trying to get as many support candies and level up training/berries as much as I can.

See I never keep the coin karps. I feel like the game gives you a lot of coins with events and pokeballs. I preferably go with the +training JP karps or +food JP karps if I can.

Farming coins (don't farm if under 100% coin karp) at max level is the best way to maximize coins for upgrading and requires less effort than sitting on the game 24/7. I'm sitting at 20mil coins myself. Going for 100 then will splurge on new berries
