Cool Why the world is not going to end in 2012 :>

There have been about 514 leap years since Caesar created the calender in 45 B.C. Without the extra day every four years, today would be July 28th, 2013. The Mayan Calender did not account for leap years. So technically, the world should have ended 7 months ago.

Do people still insist the world's going to end? How many times have they claimed the end of the world since they year 2000 now? I lost count. Nice little info, though. I would have never thought of that as a fact for why the world isn't going to end. xD

Nobody takes it seriously, but I like little tidbits that bury the concept ^^

I don't know about all the "the world is gonna end" stuff... but if you step back and take a look around at what happening, there is going to be a major shit storm coming soon.

My family and I have been going to the range and practicing up, we just bought two hand guns, gonna buy two more shotguns and an aa-12. My dad is buying a bunch of stuff to put in the basement... food, first aid, all that kinda stuff.

I have some family that work in the intelligence agencies and they said they are getting a little worried themselves.... so that's not always something good to hear.

I don't know about how accurate the Mayans were... if they could predict all that, but they are now an essentially extinct civilization...obviously they had their priorities in the wrong place.

It is incredibly easy to instill fear in people especially when involves something they cannot control in which case all hell breaks loose due to paranoia. Conspiracy theories are the reason these ideas are so popular and the people who heavily follow those theories can border on the delusional, some people just take it as a possibility and are not full out delusional lol. I for one do not believe in anything of this sort. When people wake up on Dec. 21 2012 you will still be paying your bills and going to work or school so be worried if you want but your life will remain the same after that supposed "doomsday". Stock up your guns, dig a hole in your backyard, shoot someone for looking at you if you are that paranoid but I am personally not going to think anything of it when nothing happens on that day.

btw as a side note if you want to read more into what people think is going to happen and ideas of why doomsday Dec. 21, 2012 will occur then go to (you need an account to see links). It is a conspiracy website with a lot of conspiracy ideas and people preparing for the end of it all. Some ideas are way out in left field like aliens are coming to destroy us all to how the Government is going to kill everyone.

The only world ending story i somewhat believe is the 2036 one which has facts to back it up but it has been proven that the way the world is said to end in 2012 won't end that way

I honestly believe the world will end. Just not in 2012.
I don't think you can predict it, I mean, anything can happen.
Should just live your life and stop trying to figure out when we're doomed xD!
