I thought the Underworld series was pretty nice. Until the recent few.. :/
You're lacking severely in the TV shows department! Maybe you can try Modern Family (for some laughs) and Suits (for some legal action)!

Arrested Development on Hulu is the good, i can rewatch that constantly.

My favorite movie of all time is Across the Universe (2007). Great movie featuring Beatles music in the 1960s with themes of love, politics, and changing perception.
You have watched several of my other favorite tv shows and movies so I hope you get around to trying it out. If you're not into the Beatles or musical type movies I'm not sure it's for you.

Yeah, that list is a list of the movies I have downloaded, I've watched way more LOL
And yup, I lack in the tv series/shows department, I prefer animes over those cause there are more episodes and they are shorter
I have a few suggestions:
Donnie Darko (I still don't believe no one recommended it yet):o
Omoide no Marnie/As memrias de Marnie - (studio Ghibli)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind /Brilho Eterno de uma mente sem lembranas
Once/Apenas uma vez
Zombieland/Zumbilandia

TV shows:
Handmaid's Tale
Sci-Fi
Based on Margaret Atwood's 1985 dystopian novel, this TV series (currently running on HULU) is set in a totalitarian society in New England that is ruled by a fundamentalist regime that treats women as property of the state. Fertile women such as June (known as Offred) are forced into sexual slavery.
So far I LOVE this series. Even if you're not into the dystopian theme, I think this is a must watch.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Comedy
This Netflix original recently released its third season. Kimmy Schmidt is rescued after 15 years of being a hostage in an underground bunker. She decides to reclaim her life by moving to New York City. Not the deepest or intensely funny show, but it's easy entertainment and something to have in the background while doing stuff. I also use it as a break from watching super intense shows and movies.
13 Reasons Why
Drama
Don't let the fact that this is a depressing high school drama that was overhyped. The netflix original story follows Clay, who receives tapes created by Hannah, a girl who committed suicide in his school. On each tape, she names a person and the reason why they drove her commit suicide.
Greenleaf
Drama
This seems like a weird one, but there's so much drama if you're into that. Created by Oprah for her OWN network, Greenleaf is about the Greenleaf family, who run a Memphis megachurch called Calvary Fellowship World Ministries. Grace, the daughter of the preacher, leaves her family years prior only to return because of her sister's death. The show currently is in its second season and includes a lot of scandal. I'm not into these kinds of shows but I binged the first season.
Movies:
Sunshine
Sci Fi
I only recommend this for the soundtrack and visual effects. The plot at the beginning of the movie is really good. The storyline gets weird mid/late movie turning into a thriller. A group of scientists leave earth on an expedition to send an explosive device into the dying sun to essentially jumpstart it and save the earth from freezing over.
Snowpiercer
Sci Fi
In a post-apocalyptic world where the outside is frozen over, the remaining people live in a constant-moving super train that is separated by class. The poor essentially live in a slum at the back of the train, while the nicer and richer areas are closer to the front of the train. A group bands together to break their way through the train to get to the front where the engineer lives.
