The bot's not very useful without a winning team, I imagine both would go hand in hand. Otherwise what would stop people from using your bot to oppose the site?

You're looking at this wrong. The bot can be used to get your account the All-Star rank and more prize points. Some people will just farm on tons of accounts for points... Definitely not useless.

I guess I don't entirely understand. I figured the trophy is more valuable than prize point stuff, unless the all-star rank means you get that trophy?

The trophy would be for bragging purposes, what matters the most, in my opinion, it's getting to all-star and keep maxing to get more points to spend at the end, then you wait a year and spend all the points on whatever it's worth more lol

I'm not so sure 300 posts is more secure. You'd have to raise it to 1000 posts to be truly safe.

That being said, I think requiring a donation (probably a minimum of $10) is a much better safety net than 300 posts.

Any safety net is better than none imo. Plus I'm sure you could have messaged Joe and asked to be considered as an exception instead..

Everybody gets a trophy that is based on the rank they achieve and what team they are on, and I guess what team wins. More bragging rights.

The real money is in getting all star rank *2 *3 *4 etc to buy all those sweet sweet stamps and BD weapons and gear in the prize shop once the AC is over. You don't have to be on the winning team for that. That is however much or little effort you put in individually for whatever team you choose.

Psh, just be nice and show positive community involvement over the next couple of days and I'm sure the exception rule could be considered. The posts are a good guideline for showing who is an active part in the community, but if you can show you're a team player who is involved in making this site a better place without necessarily posting 200 times in the next couple of weeks, certainly means you can join. Just throwing my 2 cents in there
