Earlier today, I was with a friend and while checking my emails for a confirmation of an online order, I was explaining to her how I hadn't gotten it yet, but when I meant to say "email" I said "Neomail" instead. It was a bit embarrassing at the moment since I don't tell anyone I play, but luckily she didn't notice. I thought to myself "did I really just do that" and had that little moment of reflection where I thought that maybe I should take a break from Neo if I'm starting to speak its language haha.
I feel like that would be the most common mistake, using the word Neomail instead of email, since it's pretty close together. I'm curious to know if anyone else has done this, since it's honestly kinda funny afterwards.

Somehow it came up that we were talking about pterodactyls in class with a couple of my friends and I couldnt think of what the name of it was so I said pteri and then paused and realized what I had just done. Thankfully it was just a few of my buddies and they just thought I was dumb and didn't know how to pronounce the actual name. Good times

I don't think I've ever had that slip of the tongue before, but that's pretty funny. They are close enough that if you say it quickly nobody will even notice.... unless they too are hip to the lingo.

I use the word Shoyru as a sexual therm with my parents as an inside joke, since in spanish, it sounds pretty close to a vulgar way of saying vagina. It's not really accidental to be honest, but still, I wanted to share this.
Example, "You better go and clean your Shoyru up."
But on spanish of course.
Don't ask.

A few months ago a buddy and I were at a dog parade (for a local shelter fundraiser) and a dog passed in a mermaid outfit. I chuckled and I accidentally said outloud, "look a maraquan gelert" and he started just laughing with me, and then was like "wait what is that?" and I just laughed it off and said it was from some video game.

Not neopets... But one time when I played Diablo II back in the day, to type messages to friends in the chat you need to start with "/f m Your message here"... SO I was switching between Diablo II and MSN (yeah that long ago) and I kept typing "/f m" before all my messages to my buddy on MSN and he's like wtf is going on your msn is broken.
Disclaimer: "/f m" is short for "/friends message"
