Can't answer your last question, haven't been in the market for the last two years. But Neopets is very slow these days, so I imagine the market to be fairly slow too.
And next time you have such simple questions, why not go look for the information yourself? Ain't that hard.
Yes - take a look at the Neopets Trading forum section. It's still pretty active. According to our iTrader, we have had over 200 logged transactions in the last month, and over 1300 in the last 6 months.
