How long have you been playing Neopets?

I've been playing about 14 years but i wasn't super active for like 4 years so give or take

Started around 99 and played until around 2002, then took a break.

Came back around 2004 and played for another few years until my main got iced and was done with the game for a long time.

2015 got the itch to come back and started playing again. So really, in total, 7-ish years.

I've been playing since I was 6, so 11 years now.

I started somewhere around 2000. Took a loooong break since then and returned about few months ago for the sake of nostalgia.

I think my very first account was created back in 2000. But sadly I don't have access to that account anymore
Can't believe it's been 17 years!

I started playing in Feb 2001... so 16 years.... stopped in 2003 to have a baby... and then picked back up in 2005...and I am still here... and probably won't go anywhere until the site finally shuts down. I still have this weird undying love for neopets. Even tho I have been frozen ALOT in the past... I can't bring myself to leave. I still love the good old days.

I only remember it by the original release of the game Chomby and the Fungus Balls, because I remember it being released, and I think that was mid 2000? So it was before then, but no clue how long before. I have pictures of me on our old box of a computer with the Neopets page up when I was 5-6, retro as fuck.

I think I started in Summer of 2001 - played for several months took a several year break played again took a break etc - all the way til now. My high school girlfriend talked me into playing so we could chat.

I've just been wondering, how long have you guys been playing Neopets? I feel like a lot of the active community is made up of the older players who started back when the site was big, but how far along are you guys?

Personally speaking I started about 6 years ago.

14 years! I made my Neopets account on my 10th birthday ;w;
