Gotta love your neighbors sometimes

I have no clue how thick/thin the walls/floors in my apartment building are... but somebody is playing some loud ass music. All I can hear is their bass and they stay up until like 4am sometimes. It's not crazy loud but just loud enough to be annoying.

I have my speaker that puts out some crazy bass that I like to turn on sometimes to shut them up. Put the bass up to about 75% and the volume about 20% up and it's already killer. I feel bad if I turn it up louder but when I do, it's shuts them up. It literally shakes the floor if I turn it up around 85% volume.

To be the bigger person or to fight fire with fire?

My neighbors on either side of me, on the same floor, are away on trips right now. They are cool though. The walls must be pretty thick because there's been um.. very loud nights and they told me they haven't heard a thing. The floors.. I guess they are a different story? Duck it though. I pay my 2k just like everybody else so they can chilllllllll

I used to call the cops on my neighbours for their shitty music at unreasonable times. Just because they were shift workers doesn't mean it's ok for them to blast country at 3am.

I don't think I'd ever call the cops but I've gotten close to going down a floor and knocking on their door. I wouldn't be opposed to that. Or leaving a note in the elevator telling them to stop being little shits.

I had to work a shift opposite of my normal one and played my music super loud while they were sleeping. I'm sure they didn't like that, but fair is fajr. Everyone else around here is very nice, but you always havethatbad apple.

i got neighbors who do that shit too. and they aren't even right next me i dont think. Idk how their neighbors haven't done anything cuz if i can hear it in my living room (only room i can hear it in or the bathrooms) then i'm sure its loud as fuck for them haha.

fight that shit with fire my dude. I wouldnt call the cops unless its like a last resort type of thing. but i'm sure it doesnt bother you THAT much to deal with cops and shit
