I am in the process of doing the exact same thing of picking out rings. It is exciting to look at so many options. I like how you two really personalized yours.

Ooh, wonderful! What kind of rings have you been looking at so far? Any ideas for stones, metals, engravings, cuts? Personally I really love non-diamond stones. I saw a very very pretty rose gold & pearl ring on etsy that I loved too, it was dainty and soft!

I like these better than a standard diamond too, not just for the uniqueness but also because diamonds and gold are massively expensive and I would rather that huge amount of money cover a few car payments or something, lmao. Being young and planning a wedding, we want to save as much moolah as possible @_@

I had no idea of diamond types, shapes, sizes etc lol I do not wear jewellery. But in the looking we have done I realize I like simple princess cut, halo style, with a split band. Nothing over 1 carat either because to me that is too big and I do not want anything huge on my finger.

I picked out this one at a store here.

And another very similar was by Vera Wang and it has a sapphire in it.



For him it turns out he likes bands that are split with a brushed copper middle. Similar to this. Easy to find.
