So this is annoying me for a long time now but I was too lazy to create a thread, but decided to do it now since I'm trying to update the title of this thread: (you need an account to see links)
As you can see, when you click the thread it appears modified (with the "UPDATED!"), but if you're viewing the threads of the trading section it doesn't appear modified.
What I did to edit was going to advanced settings and modifying, but it never seemed to work for me. I thought it was impossible then but I'm pretty sure I've already seem people changing the title of their threads before so I just want to make sure.

If you don't see a tab at the top called "Administrative" and an option called "edit thread", then you're SOOL. If you PM one of us and ask nicely though, we'll help you out. Alternatively you can report your own thread to achieve the same thing. Just don't request it too frequently.

Like I've said before, people can only edit their thread's titles a few minutes after they've been created, you can achieve this by going to the "What's New?" page and double-clicking your thread.
This part right here btw:
Besides that, your only choice is to ask a moderator .

Thanks everyone for the answers! Can I suggest this to be changed so members (maybe ck/official ck+ only) can edit their own threads? Not sure if that would be a problem, it's not something really important as well but I'd like to have this option available.
Would this be hard to add or is there another reason why it works like that?
@(you need an account to see links) I too would love to be able to edit the titles of my own posts. Especially when I write a guide and then afterwards think of a better title after I already posted it lol.
I believe top clraik and up can do this.
