Best current gen console?

I have a PS4 and I love it! I don't have many games though, so I still use my PS3 more.
I personally think it's better than the new XBOX... but I've also never liked XBOX anyways.

I have all the Playstations, actually. I don't think me and Microsoft were meant to be.

If you were going to buy a console though, I'd recommend the Switch. There's not many exclusives for the PS4 to make it worth it, and I think the Switch is really cool and has a bunch of quality exclusives. A lot of things on the PS4 you can just pick up for PC.

If you could get your hands on a Switch, I'd just buy the Switch and get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
There's not a lot of other games on the Wii U to make buying one worth it, unfortunately. It'd probably be cheaper than a Switch, though, if that's what you're looking for.

The Switch is going for around $400 USD.
The Wii U is going for around $250, if you want one that's refurbished and is *almost* brand new.
I don't think they make new Wii U's anymore, even.

There's not a lot of games for it right now, but there's already a pretty good, albeit small, selection of games for it.

There's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Shovel Knight, Breath of the Wild, PuyoPuyo Tetris, Snipperclips, Binding of Isaac, etc.
I'd Google it if you want more information, since those are all the ones I can name off the top of my head.

I've also heard there might be a new Animal Crossing games in the works for it!

Along with that, they're working on releasing Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Splatoon 2, Skyrim, Project Octopath Traveler (a game by the people who made Bravely Default), and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Supposedly, there's over 80 games in development for it right now!

In all honesty, the Wii U might be cheaper, but I'll bet you they'll rerelease all the games that were released for the Wii U on the Switch, or on the 3DS, since it was such a flop.

Even if they don't, you're not missing much.
They already rereleased the only 3 good original games on the Switch, or on the 3DS.

I recently got an XBOX1. At the time I really really wanted the game rare replay and I justified it by selling my old conkers bad fur day cartrige to pay for the new console. I hate the xbox because it has really crappy connectivity with my wifi and every single time pretty much i go to play a game i have to wait 3 days for a stoopid. 9GB update or something ridiculous. I live in the outer suburbs of a city in australia so internet is shocking at the best of times let alone trying to use it on the xbox. rage over.

And Crash Bandicoot remake is coming out soon so thats a good a reason as any to go for PS4!

I play the PS4 mostly, although I do have an xbox one. PS4 is more preferred couldn't give specific reasons really.

I still play the 360 lol. I will probably go for the One X after the price drops and I upgrade to a 4k TV.
