I've barely touched Neopets lately despite being super into it for a while there. I check cK more than Neo and most of my time is spent on a different pet site instead. Also with job hunting and real life responsibilities I don't find the motivation to be there right now.

Basically. Just check up on the forums here and there. Do dailies on Neo. Maybe put a little bit of work into a program then continue on about my day. Usually my day just consists of homework and programming.

I work a lot now at a 2:30pm to 11pm job so no real time to be on the computer much anymore. My work bans any sites that mention "gaming" as well so even if I wanted to check my accounts or cK on my phone it is all denied.
When I have time at home though I do like to check cK before I do any neo stuff.
I have way too much of a "real life" right now and I wish I didn't so I could play Neo more

I'm an on and off player, but I have a very busy life outside of all games really.
I do log on daily, but I go through stages. At the moment I'm quite into selling stuff and saving for the BD stamp avatar, so it's holding me in. After that though, I'll probably back off again until there's another event or whatever. I'm currently on long term sick from work so I guess I'm on it more than usual.
oh geez, everyone on this Neopets centered forum is "too busy" for neopets.
I play a lot now, but I'm considering quitting to focus on real-life stuff. I'm on my way out of the military (honorably, my contract is running up) and I should be applying for real-life jobs rather than looking for mispriced chia pops. (I'm good on time now, I don't get out until the end of the year/beginning of next year, but still!)

Hard to say exactly when I was very active but during the 2001-2006 timeframe I recall playing a lot. Things were very different back then and I sometimes wish the content (and the active player base) was like it was back then in a similar way that I miss vanilla World of Warcraft.
Currently just log on every once in a while for dailies and if there are any site events.
