What songs motivate you during workouts?

I've asked this question before on other sites and got super vague answers like "uh anything from the 90s!!!!" so don't fail me nowwww, cK. Curious about specific songs that you find pump you up during workouts?

I'm in the process of training to become a cycling instructor and I'd love to expand the song library I'm currently working with. They can be any genre (I personally tend to gravitate toward house or songs that combine hip hop/EDM, so most of my collection falls in those categories). Also, it'd be super cool just to see what y'all prefer when it comes to motivational music.

And if you don't work out but you have songs that make you consider working out for even just a brief second, post those, tooooo, pretty please?

    OK GO!

    Till It's Gone - Yelawolf
Thunderstruck - AC/DC (always my cooldown song haha)
    Freaks - Timmy Trumpet
    FIYAA - MORTEN
    Jungle (Remix) - X Ambassadors
    Colored Glass - Marco V
    Carnival - Quintino
Your Can't Stop Me - Andy Mineo
    Brincando - DJ White
Blockbuster Nigth Part 1 - Run the Jewels
    Bring Em Out - T.I.
DJ Turn It UP - Yellow Claw
Shake baby Shake - Drop the Lime
    Hustlin' - Rick Ross
    Ante Up - M.O.P.
    Shots & Squats - Vigiland
Bring The Riot - Henry Fong
    Berlinition - Chris Bekker
    General - Yo Gotti
    Danza Kudoro - Don Omar
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

    I do what I can
Should be lots of house mixed in there. I wasn't sure how appropriate the songs needed to be so I tried my best haha.

I'm sure I can update you with some more later. I need to get lost in the lesser known parts of spotify more often.

For sure. I try to do the same every once in a while to see if anything catches my attention, but it's so hard to know where to look sometimes, hahah. And they can be explicit, I'd just have to add a disclaimer before classes, LOL.

I listen to podcasts while I workout haha

But when I used to listen to music I'd stick with EDM/Trap/Dubstep

Good luck on the cycling instruction! My spin instructor does different themed classes every so often (90s, Michael Jackson, etc) and people seem to love it

I love "I" by Kendrick Lamar. The beat is so good, plus "I love myself" idk it's a good message to run to cause you are caring for your body I guess? haha I just got done listening to it at the gym.
I also like LMFAO actually xD idk just very pump up beat I guess haha
Also songs that have "work" in it for some reason like motivate me? "Work" from Rihanna or "Work from home" from 5th Harmony. Also "Worth it" from 5th Harmony too.
It's interesting how the lyrics and the music combine to make it a good gym song. At least for me.

Hope that helps some at all! haha

Yeah, for sure! My instructors now do a lot of themed rides or even just "battle" rides where they throw two artists up against each other and stuff, and people usually eat it up. Do you go to a studio specifically for spinning or just take spin classes at a gym? & thank you for the luck!

Thanks, girl! Every suggestion helps, for sure. Hahah, I definitely know what you mean about the lyrics. When the combo of both music and lyrics is there, those are ideal. I have so many songs that I love where the music is PERFECT but the lyrics are like, not at all motivating... I'll probably use them anyway, LOL, but it's nice to have both.

I don't actually do the spinning...I just employ the spin instructor lol. I've taken some spin classes before, but they aren't really my thing. I'm more of a "lift heavy things and put them back down again" kind of person

The Offspring - "You're Gonna go Far, Kid" is always a good one for me.

Always good on the list are "Animal I Have Become", alongside "I hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace.

"Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chilli Peppers will forever be a favorite, and Nonpoint's "Bullet With A Name" is up there.
"u just fucking jacked off and now ur watching death note"
    "Yea, pretty much."

    Aura loves me ♥
