Why would players get frozen? TNT said in an editorial that they already legitimatized all suaps as long as they sell at a reasonable price.

You haven't been around? If you try to sell SuAP's/MSPP TCG's you will be mass reported. Actually, consider that for ALL high end items that were mass duped back when it was an option.

Hi Country Queen, I would love to buy some expensive items such as the MSPP TCG to lend to people. I finally have enough nps and I am so excited, but sadly people have warned me that it may not be safe to buy rare items and that I could be risking my account if I buy one - can you please let us know if we can buy these high end items without fear of being frozen. ~ username removed
Hi there! So, this one is a little hard to give a blanket answer to, because unfortunately not everyone is as nice and honest as you! For the most part though, you should be okay. If you're a rule-abiding player not partaking in any suspicious activity and buy a high-end item for a fair price, then we shouldn't have any reason to suspect you of any wrongdoing! Even if the item you purchased was wrongfully obtained by the person you bought it from, if you're clear, you won't be frozen, but the trade might be reversed.

That was in the past Joe but that doesn't happen anymore I think.

Even the original TNT accepted and allowed dupes after a while. If there isn't a rollback, you can't remove all dupes.

TBH even though the dupe scandal screwed over a lot of people, for people like me who only recently achieved any sort of wealth on Neopets it makes my Battledome set goals much more attainable xD I "only" need to save up 200M NP to get a WotDF and a SuAP!

I was a law abiding neopian at the time. From what I understand there was an exploit that allowed people to duplicate items and some went pretty "Leeroy Jeeeeeeenkins" with duplicating high end hard to get items like SuAP. MSPP (TCG) and the like. TNT froze and got rid of a bunch of them but didn't catch them all. Its been a while since that happened so rumor is that any dupes left over are supposedly safe as long as the seller isn't obvious about it. No selling multiple items or multiple items going on sale within a short time frame of each other even if its on different accounts etc.

They never said they legitimized the items. They just said if you ended up buying a dupe and you have no idea, you're okay.
