Always eat fruits and vegetables. It is okay to eat meat too but not pork and such.

Since I'm always on the run, I try to take some healthy snacks with me or come up with something quick.
I've been working out a lot lately and eating well makes such a difference.

My favorite go to smoothie is:

    • 1 banana
    • 1 cup of spinach
    • 1 cup of frozen strawberries (you can add some blueberries too)
    • 1 tbsp of peanut butter (optional, I love peanut butter ok)
    • 1 of milk or almond milk (you can try coconut/soy milk if you prefer)
    • 1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
    • 2 ice cubes

    Roughly,
    400 cals - 56 g of carbs - 11 g of fat - 29 g of protein - 33 g of sugar (based on my smoothie)

I toss it in my NutriBullet and it's so good. It might be weird at first, but it's a pretty green and looks like a matcha milkshake.
The ingredients last me awhile; you're better of making your own smoothies because they're so expensive elsewhere. (Avg. $7 PER smoothie in Los Angeles)

I also enjoy protein/fruit bars, dried mangoes, & roasted almonds.

    Some other snacks I like:

Not all my snacks are all healthy, but they're healthier options for sure.
Halo Top is AMAZING if you're ever craving ice cream! Much better than other low cal/healthier brands I've tried.

Or another thing I like to make it:

Can't get more simple than that, I use cacao nibs as my chocolate of choice.
