So, my class is going on a field trip to the movies theatre

Is that movie or whatever any good? I never read any of the hunger games books out there.
Also, what is it about? Just interested.

Kidding. Pretty much, I've been told the books are about the future and food is scarce, so you fight to the death to win food?

I bought the whole series on the weekend and read them all as soon as I bought them lol

The first book, which the movie is based off is really good. Second book is pretty good too, I just didn't like the ending too much in the last book. I was completely dissatisfied actually.

The hunger games is about a country called Panem and its main city called the Capitol and there are 12 districts which produce things like food, coal, electronics, etc for the Capitol. The hunger games were started by the Capitol because of district 13 rebelling against the Capitol which caused the Capitol to destroy district 13. So each year to punish the districts the Capitol picks 1 boy and 1 girl from each district to fight until death where the winner gets fame and glory from the Capitol. There are a lot of interesting details that I dont want to spoil for you but its a good book so you should enjoy the movie.

good book, pretty easy read. The sequel was better, the last one sucked. Idk about the movie, looks pretty tight to the book plot line

Yeah when I first opened up the book it seemed like almost too much of an easy read. I felt like I had gone back in time and picked up a book I should have read in middle school.
But it does sound interesting! Maybe sometime soon I'll get to it xD

Yea, it was an extremely easy read. I read the 3 book series in two days.

My brother's class is going to see that too. Apparently as a whole grade they read the series. He loves it.
