Ohh dang, sorry to hear! How are they treating it? Or have they even found out what's causing it?

I'm anemic too! Are you a vegetarian? Two years ago when I got my blood tested for the first time the doctor was like, "Your count is under 10 and it's supposed to be at least 115. I don't know how you're still standing frankly, typically people with a count that low are bedridden. You're going to end up very sick very soon."

Two years later, I'm fine. My count has gone up with me just occasionally taking my iron pill. I don't take it as often as I'm supposed to. It's still low but it's not at the "you're gonna die" level that is used to be. You might have to take some huge ass pills but your chances are pretty good, mate. Hope you feel better soon!

I have to take iron supplements. It runs in the family so it's not too surprising. Definitely could be a lot worse.

Holy shit, that is low. Mine was low but not that low. I'm not vegetarian and I actually do have a lot of red meat, so I guess my body doesn't retain iron well. I'm glad you're feeling better, too! I literally don't feel bad at all. Had the bruises not appeared, I wouldn't have noticed anything off at all.

glad it's a pretty simple explanation!

if you go with iron supplements make sure to increase your fruit and veg and wholegrain cos that shit blocks you up like no tomorrow <3

Maybe you are reverse Michael Jackson and instead of going white you are turning brown, luckly you're Canadian so Trump won't send you to Mexico after your metamorphis is complete.

Glad it was something simple, anaemia is very common! Your bruises are because your blood isn't clotting properly. You can have iron tablets or iron injection/transfusion (at a clinic) if quite low.
