The Sims - yes the first one from 2000. It was the game that brought me to PC gaming.
Other games that I also really enjoy are Age of Mythology, Age of Empires, Pharaoh, Simcity 4... Just old school city building games.

I used to own this game called Mario Tennis on the gameboy colour. That was my gem back in those days
Oy that's a hard one.
If I really have to narrow it down, I'd take it to a series, Mass effect.
If I HAVE to pick a favorite from there, it'd be 2.

That's really hard to narrow it down to one.
Bayonetta, Ico, the Tenchu series are what comes to mind for me.
There was also this old Hello Kitty game that I had for DS or Gameboy or something that was super fun to play!
Pokemon Platinum It was my first Pokemon game as well as my first DS game, I logged 300+ hours before Black and White caught my attention!

it's a battle of attrition between Stardew Valley and the civilization series. both sets of games have stolen to many hours of my life and time away from my wife.
MarioKart on N64 till this day i'm still obsessed with that game.
