Nobody on this site reps really and I'm not sure why.
With that being said, @(you need an account to see links) you have my vote

Sorry to revive an older topic, but it caught my eye. @(you need an account to see links) said: "Nobody on this site reps really and I'm not sure why.

I agree with this. Due to issues with Altador Cup last year, Joe is making the Rep count a requirement for this year's cup. At least that is what the talk was last year. However, when you are relying on other people, it makes it very difficult. Some of us are not very tech savvy. We can put a lot of work in at the site, I see a few people who I feel work VERY hard, but their rep power will not be high enough for this year's cup. While I think Joe does an awesome job here , and I can't say as though I have the answer to the dilemma at this time, I am not sure rep power is the answer.
Please don't gravedig.
Joe hasn't made the requirements for this AC yet, so it'd be best not to start rumours of them. It's still a few months away and we'll be deciding upon them as we get there. I seriously doubt rep power will be the deciding factor about who gets notified about our team.

1. As Aura has already told you, please don't gravedig.
2. There's a "Reply with quote" button below every user's post, no need to mention them and c&p what they wrote, even more if that person mentioned someone. There's also a quote button on the ckeditor.
3. Reputation didn't really have anything to do with last year's requirements for the AC team, and I also highly doubt it'll be the case for this year. Joe just asked for people to reach the 'clraik' rank (if they didn't have it already) and to prove their trustworthiness. And while it's true that people can achieve that rank by earning rep. most people do it by making 50 posts and being registered for 6 days.
You also don't need to be tech savvy or a programmer to earn rep., there are TONS of other ways you can do it.
By the way, rep. power ≠ reputation points.
If you're talking about your most recent guide, no offense and it's not my intention to discourage you, but I'm gonna be honest... It's lacking.
