If it's a paid VPN, usually you're fine, the best are VPNs with no logs like (you need an account to see links)

Proxpn is a public used VPN, they keep logs. It would be hard to sort you out b/c they use only one California server to my knowledge, but they would find you if you did anything major. Stumbling across CP is different from uploading/downloading it from/to your harddrive. Just move along and exit the site if you do.

Oh and just a note to people, I'm not condoning illegal activity AT ALL, nor have I ever participated in such (despite coming across a couple posts of CP). I'm just providing knowledge about the deep web.

I think you pay for a shared IP with less bandwidth restriction, so yes. If you haven't bought a subscription yet, go with nvpn.

you can find some links to .onion sites here (you need an account to see links) as well a a search engine for a few onion sites (100,000 listed ir something, not many compared to how many there are really). also people are shutting down as many CP sites as they see on there. There are still many though and it is quite gross. Hidden wiki has been disabled becasue of this; it had many links to the sites that hosted over 200GB (the largest CP sites on the internet anywhere). You can read more about this here.
